Seeedstudio Grove - Wassersensor
Description:
This water sensor module is part of the Twig system. This sensor works by having a series of exposed traces connected to ground and interlaced between the grounded traces are the sens traces. The sensor traces have a weak pull-up resistor of 1 MO. The resistor will pull the sensor trace value high until a drop of water shorts the sensor trace to the grounded trace. believe it or not this circuit will work with the digital I/O pins of your Arduino or you can use it with the analog pins to detect the amount of water induced contact between the grounded and sensor traces.
Features:
Grove compatible interface
Low power consumption
2.0cm x 2.0cm twig module
High sensitivity
Applications Ideas:
Rainfall detecting
Liquid leakage
Tank overflow detector

Name:
TSL2561 digitaler Lichtsensor
Description:
The TSL2561 luminosity sensor is an advanced digital light sensor, ideal for use in a wide range of light situations. Compared to low cost CdS cells, this sensor is more precise, allowing for exact lux calculations and can be configured for different gain/timing ranges to detect light ranges from up to 0.1 - 40,000+ Lux on the fly. The best part of this sensor is that it contains both infrared and full spectrum diodes! That means you can separately measure infrared, full-spectrum or human-visible light. Most sensors can only detect one or the other, which does not accurately represent what human eyes see (since we cannot perceive the IR light that is detected by most photo diodes)
The sensor has a digital (i2c) interface. You can select one of three addresses so you can have up to three sensors on one board - each with a different i2c address. The built in ADC means you can use this with any microcontroller, even if it doesn't have analog inputs. The current draw is extremely low, so its great for low power data-logging systems. about 0.5mA when actively sensing, and less than 15 uA when in powerdown mode.
Of course, we wouldn't leave you with a datasheet and a "good luck!" - we wrote a detailed tutorial showing how to wire up the sensor, use it with an Arduino and example code that gets readings and calculates lux
Technical Details:
Approximates Human eye Response
Precisely Measures Illuminance in Diverse Lighting Conditions
Temperature range: -30 to 80 *C
Dynamic range (Lux): 0.1 to 40,000 Lux
Voltage range: 2.7-3.6V
Interface: I2C

Name:
JeeNode (v6)
Description:
The JeeNode is a compact wireless board with an Atmel 8-bit RISC microprocessor. JeeNodes are compatible with the Arduino platform and can be programmed under Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux using sketches created with the Arduino IDE.
Each JeeNode has 4 identical “ports” for attaching analog and digital I/O logic, I2C devices, and more. The JeeLib library makes it easy to interface to these ports.
The JeeNode Kit contains all the parts needed to build a JeeNode v6 – including an ATmega328p processor and an RFM12B radio module. The processor chip is pre-flashed with the Arduino boot loader and the RF12demo sketch.
Kits include the ISM-band 868 MHz radio module as used in Europe. See the Modern Device shop for 915 MHz JeeNodes and US$ prices.
The NoRF variant is a kit without the RFM12B radio module. It’s essentially a low-cost Arduino-compatible board with four ports.
The PCB only variant is the bare v6 board without any components. You’ll need to add your own ATmega, RFM12B, regulator, pin headers, and a few other components to create a working JeeNode.
Need a lot? There are economical 6-packs and 10-packs - 10 for less than the price of 9!
The documentation and full design details are freely available. For an overview and comparison with Arduino, see this write-up.
Note: You'll also need a USB-to-serial connection, such as the USB BUB, to upload sketches.
As of mid-Jan 2012, JeeNodes ship with OptiBoot 4.4, which is compatible with Uno boards (the previous bootstrap was for Duemilanove's). The power feed diode became optional in V6 and is no longer needed or included.

Mini Slide Switch: 3-Pin, SPDT, 0.3A (3-Pack)
Description:
These small single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) slide switches are rated for 300 mA at 50 VDC and have a 0.1? pin spacing that works with standard solderless breadboards. Used alone, they make great on/off power switches for low power electronics or offer a convenient way to switch between two analog or digital input signals. The switch can also be combined with a MOSFET to make a higher-power switch (see our Zumo Robot for an example). They are sold in packs of 3, so ordering one of this product gets you three switches.

Blackberry Trackballer Breakout COM-09320
Description:
Breakout Board mit den Blackberry Trackball incl. Hall-Sensoren und 4 LEDs (rot, grün, blau, weiß).
Vollständige Englische Beschreibung:
This is a breakout board for our Blackberry Trackball. The four spindles on the trackball have a tiny circular magnet the end; each of these are paired with an SMD hall effect sensor, which are used to measure up, down, left and right movements of the trackball. An SMD momentary switch is placed under the trackball to give you a select switch. The BTN line will be pulled low when the switch is pressed.
Also included on the Trackballer are 4 LEDs: red, blue, green and white. These can be powered to light the clear trackball up any color you can imagine.
All features are broken out to a 0.1" pitch header. Regulated, 2.5-5.25VDC power must be provided to power the Hall sensors. The trackball is attached with strong CA glue. Board comes as shown, with all components populated.
The hall-effect sensors and trackball combo are surprisingly sensitive. A slight roll of the trackball creates multiple high/low transitions on the four axis pins, easily picked up by any microcontroller. A 360° rotation of the trackball, along a single axis, will result in about 9 high/low transitions.
Features:
Center select button
360° direction
Hall effect sensors measure up/down/left/right movements of trackball
Red, blue, green, white LEDs to light up the trackball
All pins broken out to 0.1" pitch header
Dimensions: 1.1x0.85"
